That’s it! We’ve closed down Wikio News, and opened a new site replacing it : Ebuzzing Labs.

Aimed at media agencies, marketing professionals, and at bloggers, the new service allows users to keep track of everything that is buzzing on social networks and whos the most influential social publishers are.

The Top Videos and Top branded videos rankings present the fastest spreading viral videos on social networks and blogs.

Top news looks at the most talked about articles on social networks, with a “filter by topic” option.

Top Blogs ranking: The well-known and established industry reference!

Top Brands: This is brand new! Which brands have the most “buzz” on social networks? What’s the news that’s made that brand a hot topic? What’s the evolution of the brand’s Facebook fan base?

We hope you’ll like this new service… we’ve dedicated a lot of passion and energy into making it happen.

P.S. If you were using Wikio and its customized tabs for your personal monitoring/watch, you will find it here now.

Since you closed all doors to the old bloggers who used Wikio I'm leaving this message where I can:

You have my blog at your site:
http://labs.ebuzzing.co.uk/top-blogs/source/hellaheaven-ana.blogspot.com-97eUu
I don't have an account. How will we solve that?
Thank you!

Hi Ana,

Thanks for your comment. Ebuzzing has incorporated Wikio functionality into its new offering, Ebuzzing Labs. The blog ranking can be found here, as well as the news ranking. If you’d like to set up an account to link with your blog, please get in contact with Chris Burton. If you have any other questions, please don’t hesitate to email me.

Thanks

Adwoa

What's happened to the blog ranking badge on sciences?

The blogs in sciences are one nobody has heard of and get very little if any traffic. Do you have to pay now to be on the list?

Even the link through URL on the badges is broken. Seems you've left a train wreck in the switchover.

Hi Anthony,

Thanks for bringing this issue to our attention; we will fix this asap. No publisher needs to pay to have their blog ranked. If you have any more questions, please feel free to email me on: adwoa.baah@ebuzzing.com

My beer blog was ranked in the top 20 at wikio in October and November 2011, now it's not even in the new combined beer-wine blog rankings.

What gives?

For the moment US rankings have not been incorporated into the site. We will notify you once the US rankings are once more included at the same high quality as our European rankings.

I see now that the blogs all seem to be U.K.-based. Did you decide there needs to be retribution for that whole independence from the crown thing and eliminate U.S.-based blogs from your rankings?

Hi Gerard,

As you will see on the rankings, these can be filtered by country. For the moment we are focusing on European countries, but will be looking to include more filters for more countries in the future.

So are you saying that the North American lists that were on Wikio no longer exist?
